Overview

Ontoolsearch is a tool search facility designed with the aim of allowing educators to find suitable tools for their learning settings (collaborative in special). You can test the system posing semantic searches, as well as submitting keyword-based queries and browsing the tool dataset (see below).

Ontoolsearch is a research work of the Intelligent & Cooperative Systems Research Group (GSIC). This software is developed and maintained by Guillermo Vega-Gorgojo.

Use Ontoolsearch

You are specially encouraged to test semantic searching with our interactive Ontoolsearch client. In addition, you can pose conventional keyword queries or just browse our (still small) tool dataset.

Beyond Ontoolsearch...

The GSIC group keeps working on supporting educators to find suitable tools by means of semantic searches. A new infrastructure, called SEEK-AT-WD, has been built to obtain tool descriptions from the Web of Data following a Linked Data approach. In addition, U-SEEK has been developed as a new search client based on Ontoolsearch that retrieves data from SEEK-AT-WD. For more information:
