Welcome to the Web Collage home page

Web Collage (Web COLlaborative LeArning desiGn Editor) is an authoring tool developed to aid non-expert learning designers in the definition of Computer-Supported Collaborative Learning (CSCL) scripts. Web Collage supports the computational representation of CSCL scripts using the IMS Learning Design standard. CSCL scripts created with Web Collage can be based on a set of learning patterns called Collaborative Learning Flow Patterns (CLFPs) that collect well-known best practices in Collaborative Learning. Thanks to the CLFPs provided by Web Collage, learning designers do not need to start the creation of their scripts from scratch. Additionally, Web Collage fosters the consideration of assessments as a crucial aspect of CSCL scripts and tries to overcome the difficulties in their selection and configuration. Web Collage can also be found embedded in the Integrated Learning Design Environment (ILDE), a community environment that supports learning designers along a complete full-lifecycle learning design process.
